The trust is an independent, charitable and philanthropic organization, registered under the Charitable Trust Act.

The Trust bearing the name of Sri.E.M.S. Namboothiripad, thinker, political luminary and first elected Chief Minister of Kerala, has been in vogue in the service of humanity for the last two decades. The Trust sources it’s funds from generous contribution from individuals, companies and co-operatives.

For the last two decades, this non-profit making trust, is serving the ailing, poor, down-trodden people. One of the important activity is providing medical care. A well equipped and full fledged dialysis unit, run by the trust is providing more than 12000 dialysis procedures yearly. About 100 cases of congenital heart decease was set right, by surgical intervention, at the EMS Memorial Super Specialty Co-op Hospital, Perinthalmanna, sponsored by the Trust.

Charitable and philanthropic activities are, service to the human society.

Given the track-record, the EMS Memorial Charitable Medical trust can claim a Small roll in this field.

By “Helping the Help-Less”, poor and needy, the trust has proved its mettle.
